William Cadenhead was established in 1842 in Aberdeen in the North East of Scotland, consequently WM Cadenhead’s is the oldest independent bottler of whiskey in Scotland. In 1972 J. & A. Mitchell the owners of Springbank Distillery purchased the business which is now based in Campbeltown.
