We are the charmed and it was the enchanter. It was a beam of light so bright that we could see well beyond the darkness. A direct correlation between that which we know and that which found its way into genesis. The first thought in a myriad range of concepts with Keeping Together. A blend of four different Imperial Stouts, forged to maximize the textures found in the Piedmont digestif that we have come to love. We then aged it on the fairer side of the aromatics found in Chinato, to bring a unity between purists and the casual imbibers of our stout program. A Nebbiolo barrel-aged batch of dried figs, raisins and cherries was added to accentuate the fruit of the birthing wine region, then ginger, cardamom, rhubarb and vanilla make up a warming phenolic spice, before toasted cocoa nibs, walnuts and pecans arrive to provide the texture and richness that you deserve in your after dinner drink. A wide-mouth snifter of cherry wine that leans to Valpolicella, ginger molasses cookies with chocolate chips, and toasty spiced walnut raisin bread fresh out the oven.
